Step 1: Set Up Your Triage Channel and Connect Your Alert Sources

8. If P1 or P2: create a Jira ticket (project: SEC), assign to the repository owner, and send a direct Slack message to the current on-call engineer from PagerDuty.
9. If P4 or likely false positive: ask the team to confirm before archiving.
Memory: Remember classifications and outcomes for recurring alert types. If a CVE has been previously triaged and accepted as a known risk, note that in the summary.
